Cornish hedging

A Cornish hedge is an earth or subsoil bank faced up each side with stone. We have used our skills for a variety of projects, such as road improvements, housing development, pipelines, windfarms, schools, the Eden Project, Hampton Court, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and commercial developments.

Why construct hedge banks?

Hedge banks are called so as parts of them are organic, living things. Part of the hedge constructed is the vegetation that grows on it. The vegetation can be grass, flowering plants or even trees.

Stone hedges are environmentally friendly and are a host for reptiles, small mammals, moths, butterflies and bees. They also provide a home for many nesting birds.
